The Site Support Engineer II is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Computer Hardware, Operating System, End-User Application Software, Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Standby Generator Infrastructure of multiple  computing environments located in the Western region of Jamaica. 

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring consistency in maintaining a secure, reliable and efficient computing environment at assigned sites by effecting sound project implementation, focused on-site corrective and preventative maintenance. He / she will also be responsible for carrying out system administration tasks and provides solutions to local networking problems and also first point troubleshooting of power infrastructure faults.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution. 
  • Experience in Network and Systems Management, Computer Hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Experience in power system design, configuration and maintenance.
  • Interest in Computer Hardware and Software literature. 
  • Good understanding of the system specifications and its impact on hardware, Networking and power infrastructures.
  • Licensed to operate and ownership of a reliable motor vehicle.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
