Government invests US$4.7 million to expand BPO space

THE Government is continuing work to expand the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, through investment of US$4,721,988 for further infrastructure build-out. 

Education, Youth and Information Minister Senator Ruel Reid said this includes a Cabinet-approved contract in the sum of US$3,792,630, which has been awarded to China Harbour Engineering Company Limited to undertake foundation work for three BPO buildings at the Portmore Informatics Park in St Catherine.
