Morrison Reappointed VP Of Regional Group On Payment System

Livingstone Morrison, Bank of Jamaica Deputy Governor, Administration and Technical Services, Finance and Technology, and Payment and Risk Management has been re-elected vice president of the working group on payment system issues of Latin America and the Caribbean (WGPS-LAC) for a third term.

WGPS-LAC was created in 2001 as a high-level technical committee on regulation, oversight and operation issues on payment and settlement systems, the BOJ said in a release.

As part of the institutional arrangements of the Western Hemisphere payments and securities settlement forum, it has support from the World Bank as well as the International Advisory Council of which the Bank for International Settlements and the European Central Bank are members.
