Nugent's cybercrime case heads to court today

The cybercrime case involving Tambourine Army activist Latoya Nugent, is to get under way today in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court.

Senior Parish Judge Andrea Pettigrew Collins on March 22 extended Nugent’s bail after the prosecutor indicated that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions had expressed an interest in the matter and would be present in court today.

Nugent is facing three counts of using a computer for malicious communication under section 9 (1) of the Cybercrimes Act of 2015.
