The Government of Jamaica through the Ministry of Finance & Planning as the executing agency has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank toward the Fiscal Administration Modernization Programme (FAMP) – JA-L1039, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Desktop Workstations, Laptop & Tablet Computers.
 
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Policies for the Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (GN-2349-9).
 
Description of Works
i.Lot 1 – Supply, Staging, Delivery and Commissioning of 300 Desktop Workstations.
ii.Lot 2 – Supply, Staging, Delivery and Commissioning of 15 Laptop Computers.
iii.Lot 3 – Supply, Staging, Delivery and Commissioning of 250 Hybrid Tablet Computers.
 
Eligibility for Contract Award
To establish eligibility the preferred Bidder/s must comply with the following criteria at the time of contract award.
1.A valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC).
2.NCC Registration showing that their company is registered with the National Contracts Commission (NCC) in any one of the following categories: Computers & Related Services, OR Computers and Supplies, OR Information Technology Services. 
3.Proof of certification from manufacturer(s) to implement and support the systems being proposed (At the time of Bid Submission).
 
Collection of Bid Documents 
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English will be available for download as at January 19, 2016 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website www.gojep.gov.jm. Registration instructions available on the website listed on the system. Registration is required for vendors to participate in the Tender.
 
Deadline for Submission of Bids
Bids must submitted no later than February 17, 2016 at 2:00:00pm (Jamaica Time)
 
Bid Opening
Online Bid Opening takes place on February 17, 2016 at 2:15:00pm (Jamaica Time). An online bid opening report will be sent to all Bidders that submitted a proposal. 
 
The GoJ is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and also reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point before the award of a contract without incurring any liability to any of the bidders.
